Cecil Ward opened their first shop on Roncesvalles Avenue in Toronto, selling shirts, socks and ties in 1928. A second store was added in Bloor West Village, with direction to ultimately focus all efforts on the Bloor Street location.  Bloor West Village is a vibrant community with unique shops and iconic Toronto parks. It holds a deep history that began with the development of an area bounded on the west by the Humber River, on the north by Bloor Street, on the east by High Park and on the south by Lake Ontario.
